About the game
Are these real houses?
Yes. Every card is a real house from a real county's records, and the outcome is what really happened in the 12 months after the date the facts are from. Street, owner and parcel number are hidden so nobody can be identified.
Why are 3 of the 10 sellers when so few houses sell?
In real life only a few houses in a hundred sell in a year, so a plain ten would usually contain none and be no fun. The round always holds 3 sellers and 7 that stayed, and the real rate for the county is shown next to your result. The houses are drawn at random, never hand-picked.
How does the AI choose?
The AI is the same kind of county model behind the LeadCounty score. It was trained only on the years before the test year and never saw the answers. Its three picks are simply the three cards with its highest scores, with no changes.
Does one round prove the score works?
No. Ten houses prove nothing either way. The proof is the test on every house in a county, which is on the proof page. The game only lets you feel what the score is doing.
Why is everyone's round the same?
The ten houses change once a week and are the same for every player in a county that week, so you can compare scores with friends.
