Who we are
LeadCounty operates leadcounty.com. This policy explains what we collect about our customers and visitors, why, and your choices. Contact: support@leadcounty.com.
What we collect from you
Your name, e-mail, company and role; your password (stored only as a secure one-way hash); your saved searches, leads, notes and tasks; and usage logs (pages, searches, exports, device and IP address) needed to run, protect and improve the service and to enforce our Terms.
Sign in with Google
If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your name, e-mail address and Google account ID from Google. We never see your Google password.
Payments
Creem (creem.io) processes payments as Merchant of Record; we never see or store your card number.
How we count where visits come from
To learn which of our own pages, links and mailings bring people to LeadCounty, we keep a small first-party record on our own servers: the page you landed on, the website you came from (its name only), and the campaign tags in the link you clicked (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign). A random code in one first-party cookie (lc_vid, 90 days) lets us connect that record to the e-mail address you later give us, a sign-up, a trial or a purchase. We use no third-party trackers or advertising pixels and send this record to no one. We store no IP address with a visit. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we set no cookie and keep no visitor record: the visit is only added to a total for its campaign. You can also block the cookie in your browser; LeadCounty works the same.
E-mails
We send account e-mails (confirmation, password reset, receipts) and, if you keep them on, your Monday leads e-mail and alerts. Every non-essential e-mail has a one-click unsubscribe.
Property records
The property data comes from public records. From court records we keep the property address and the landlord or owner, never the names of tenants or defendants. Homeowners can ask us to suppress their record from exports by writing to support@leadcounty.com.
Service providers
Hosting (Oracle Cloud, Cloudflare), e-mail delivery (Resend) and payments (Creem) process data for us under contract and only to run the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, access to our systems is limited and logged, and automated access is blocked.
Keeping data
Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted 90 days after you close it, except records we must keep for tax and legal reasons.
Your rights
You can download or delete your account data at any time from your account page, or ask us by e-mail. Residents of states with privacy laws (such as California) have the same rights, and we will answer within the time the law requires.
Children
LeadCounty is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell customers by e-mail.
